As of 26th May 2012, a new EU directive requires websites to obtain informed consent from visitors before they can store or retrieve any information on a computer or any other web-connected device.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small files which are stored on your computer. They are designed to hold a small amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. Cookies allow the server to deliver a page tailored to your preferences, or allow a page to 'remember' information given previously when you return to a website.

Our cookies aren’t used to identify you personally. They’re just here to make the site work better for you. Indeed, you can manage and/or delete these small files as you wish.

The cookies that we set:

Google Analytics

utma, utmb, utmc, utmz cookies - These are used by Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. These cookies evaluate your use of the site and compile reports for us on activity on the site. They don't identify you personally. The utmc cookie is removed when you close your browser.

Google has also created their own opt-out plugin which you can get from: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you log in to our site

... then we set a session cookie, PHPSESSID. We do not use any information, and the cookie is removed when you close your browser.

How to control cookies in your browser

Most internet browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change the settings of your browser to erase cookies or prevent automatic acceptance if you prefer.
